  • Passengers with a same-day ticket in First Class, including Acela First Class or a private room sleeper car on Amtrak routes that offer these accommodations.
  • Amtrak Guest Rewards members with Select Plus or Select Executive status holding a same-day ticket for Amtrak service.
  • Amtrak Guest Rewards members may bring immediate family members (spouse/domestic partner and children) or one non-family guest if all have a valid same-day ticket.
  • Private car owners/lessees and their party during the arrival and departure times on their reservation, except at Los Angeles Union Station, where private car owners are not permitted.
  • Travelers who purchase a Single Visit Pass are subject to availability and valid on the same day at the lounge location of purchase.
  • Business class passengers may access certain lounges, such as the Portland Metropolitan Lounge and Private Waiting Rooms at selected stations, sometimes requiring the purchase of a Single Visit Pass.
  • Passengers must be 18 or older to enter unless accompanied by a supervising adult aged 18 or older.
  • Passengers can access the lounge up to three hours before their train’s scheduled departure, with some exceptions for connecting or delayed trains.
